Smooth sailing ahead

And now, for the good stuff!

After a drenching rain in parts of the area last night, cooler and drier air is making its way into southern New England!

And some more good news…Saturday is looking better and better as the rain is trending towards a later arrival.

THURSDAY:

Lowering humidity and partly sunny skies.  Just the slightest chance of a brief, pop-up sprinkle this afternoon.

FRIDAY:

An absolute WINNER, Top-Ten day, whatever you wanna call it.

Loads of sunshine, very dry air and comfy temperatures.

SATURDAY:

With the rain trending later, we expect some partial sunshine for most of the day on Saturday with just some high clouds drifting in from the west.

High temperatures similar to Saturday but with a bit more humidity in the air.

SUNDAY:

The threat of showers arrives overnight and sticks around for much of the day on Sunday.  I don’t think it will be raining all day long but there will likely be several rounds of showers and storms.

The air will be very sticky on Sunday with dewpoints over 70 degrees.  All in all, not the best day for outdoor fun.

Quick sneak peek at the holiday week coming up…

We may have a few leftover showers on Monday but otherwise I don’t see any major weather issues at this time.  No major heat and no significant storminess.

Looks like most days will be a bit above average, in the 80s.  We’ll keep you updated!
