This image pretty much sums up my weather briefing for today…
Today’s forecast…Partly sunny early, increasing clouds PM…showers mainly limited to areas south of the Pike, low 70s.
Friday through the weekend and most of next week…
RINSE, WASH, REPEAT
Partly sunny, very humid, daily threat of showers and storms, low 80s.
Despite the daily chances of rain, I don’t foresee any day as a complete washout. It will also be much warmer and more humid than the prior pattern. So, it will absolutely feel more like summer, despite the daily dodging of storms.
Also, the greater threat/risk of rain will be much higher inland than at the Coast. So, there should be lots of redeemable hours at the beaches.
Tropical Storm Bret is nearing hurricane strength and will make landfall in the Lesser Antilles in the next 24 hours.
Still looks like it will gradually weaken as it passes west through the Caribbean Sean this weekend.
