Lows of low 80s Friday with early sunshine and late day increasing clouds. As for rain chances, is looks like most of the action will arrive well after sunset.
There will be areas of rain around all weekend. It won’t rain the entire time but, if you have outdoor plans, keep that radar app handy!
Here is my best attempt at depicting where the heaviest rain and highest chance of rain will be both days…
Saturday will be the wetter of the two days. Everyone will likely see some rainfall at some point during the day, the bullseye could very well end up over southern New England.
On Sunday, the core of the rain will shift northward. Southern New England will, in general, be drier than Saturday.
So, the official Father’s Day forecast…lots of clouds, showers here and there but NOT a complete washout.
Lastly, maybe you are taking dad to Fenway this weekend? Yankees are in town…Friday night looks like the pick, I’d rank Sunday as slightly better than Saturday.
