A very nice stretch ahead…and the timing of our next rain is looking good for Father’s Day Weekend!

Today will feature a good deal of sunshine, some building afternoon clouds and just the slightest risk of a brief, isolated afternoon sprinkle.

Wednesday will be similar but just a touch milder…

The temperatures and humidity will be climbing later this week as a cold front approaches on Friday.

This is our NEXT BIG THING…as it appears likely that we will have a band of heavy downpours with a risk of some severe thunderstorms as well.

The severity will really depend on the timing of the cold front.  If it comes through Friday afternoon and evening, this could mean a fairly robust and active afternoon.

If it trends a bit later, after dark, the chance of severe weather would be much lower.  More on this to come in the next few days.

Right now, the Father’s Day Weekend is looking SPECTACULAR!

Almost too good to be true!  Highs near 80 with much drier air pouring in!
