Dear friends and neighbors,

There’s a new community project underway, one which will be a terrific addition to Westford’s recreation facilities. The Parker Village Playground Committee is hoping to establish an additional play area for our growing community of active children – and we need your help!

As you may know, there are currently no playgrounds south of the town center. Working in conjunction with the Westford Recreation Department, the committee has spent the last 12 months reviewing the available options. After considerable study, we feel the best, most cost-efficient plan is to add a play area at Jack Walsh Field on Route 225.

We need to raise over $30,000 this summer if we are to break ground in the fall. That’s a lofty goal, and we’ll need lots of community support if we are to succeed.

If you want to help make this dream a reality, please send your donation (checks payable to the Town of Westford c/o The Recreation Department/Parker Village Playground) to the Recreation Department at: 55 Main Street, Westford, MA 01886. Donations are completely tax-deductible.

Thank you for your support!
