Description: The WHS will be presenting St. Distaff Day Celebration on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 1-5pm. Once again, spinners from throughout our local region will gather to spin some yarn and enjoy each others’ company. Traditionally, the day was celebrated to mark the end of the holiday season and the return to work for all spinners. Spinners of all abilities are welcome to bring a wheel and enjoy the afternoon. The public is welcome to come visit and chat with spinners or just tour the museum. Admission is free.
