The Nashoba Youth Orchestra (NYO) is pleased to present its NYO Winter Concert on Monday December 12, 2011 at 7:00pm at the Blanchard Middle School (14 West Street) in Westford, MA.
The NYO Winter Concert program will include pieces composed or arranged by
• Dabczynski (Dueling Jingle Strings)
• Del Borgo (Evening Prayer from Hansel and Gretel)
• Spata (Agincourt)
• Baker Monday (Fantasia on Greensleeves)
• Warlock (Capriol Suite)
• Grainger (Molly on the Shore)
• Holst (St. Paul’s Suite)
These selections will be performed by the NYO Camerata Strings Orchestra, members of the NYO Sinfonia Apprenticehip Program and the NYO Sinfonia Strings Orchestra. The Sinfonia String Apprenticeship Program members rehearse and perform with the Camerata Strings Orchestra and the Sinfonia Strings Orchestra. Jonathan Lam and Deanna Leedy-Andreozzi conducting.
Suitable for all audiences, this concert will delight all who attend and is guaranteed to leave you in a festive mood!

About NYO
The Nashoba Youth Orchestra (NYO) was founded in 2004 by a dedicated group of professional musicians, music educators, performers, and parents who share a common vision for a high-quality youth orchestra located in the Nashoba Valley area which will serve the needs of motivated musicians throughout the region.
Based in Westford, Massachusetts, NYO currently operates under the not-for-profit umbrella of Westford’s Parish Center for the Arts.
Membership to NYO is through an audition and is open to all students through age 18 years. NYO is comprised of members from throughout the Nashoba and Merrimack Valleys. http://nashobayouthorchestra.org
