After a successful debut at Boston College, CODEMONKEY THE MUSICAL comes to Westford Academy! Code Monkey is an original musical written by Luke Jorgensen and driven by the music of Jonathan Coulton. This hilarious romp tells that age old story: Boy meets Girl (through his internship as a base level computer programmer at the NOTANEVIL Drug Company. Boy losses Girl (To evil CEO and mad scientist-and his Igor-like henchman.) Boy begins to de-evolve into a monkey, and finally Boy and Girl join forces with the Freemasons to battle an alien led zombie army! All with rockin music and fantastic choreography!
Jorgensen, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Theater at Boston College and a Westford resident, is directing in his seventh season with Westford Academy Theater Arts.
