Title: Westford Sportman’s Club Annual Children’s Fishing Derby starts 7:30am
Location: Westford Sportman’s Club – West St. Westford, MA
Description: Each spring the club hosts a free annual Children’s Fishing Derby, supported by funding from the club and donations from area businesses and individual members. This event is open to all children under the age of 14. Refreshments are provided, gifts are given to all children who attend, and a prize drawing and a raffle are held at the end of the derby. Hundreds of children attend each year and prizes are awarded for many things including biggest and smallest fish.
The 34th Annual Fishing Derby will be Saturday, April 25th, 2015 (rain or shine)
Registration begins at 7:30AM
Fishing from 8:00AM – 10:30AM
Prizes awarded at 11:00AM
Members: help prepare the grounds for the 2015 derby from 8:00AM-12:00 noon on the preceding Saturday, April 18th. This time counts towards your annual work assessment.
Raffle tickets will be sold the day of the Derby, or you can EMail Tim Hossler and he will mail them to you. Raffle tickets are $5.00 per ticket, or 5 tickets for $20.00
