Westford Education Foundation has worked with Westford Public Schools to make the process of attending Professional Development as easy as possible. Please answer the following questions and complete the proper WPS forms PRIOR to submitting your grant application.

Professional Development Approval: If PD will occur during the school year, the applicant(s) is required to get Principal approval for substitute coverage. Without this approval, the grant cannot be awarded. *

According to your WEA contract, the Westford Public Schools' budget shall include funds for professional development. These funds provided by WPS can be used to offset the total cost being requested in this grant. Any staff member can request to attend a conference or workshop and needs to initiate a request with their immediate supervisor. Have you used your PD funds yet this year?
