Friday late afternoon and evening looks very wet with periods of downpours through the overnight

Estimates are for another 1-2″ of water on Friday night, leading to another round of localized flooding.

There will be some leftover showers and cloudiness on Saturday morning, but we expect a mix of sun and clouds during the afternoon with a chance of a few final pop-up showers
Winds will be gusty in the wake of the storm, gusting 20-40mph during the day Saturday.
Mother’s day is one of those benchmark spring events in New England. For some, it marks the start of the growing/gardening season and perhaps, the first trip to the local nursery. Others may be firing up the grill for the first time for the inaugural start to the patio/deck season.
No matter what you’ve got planned for Mom this weekend, I think we can all agree that a nice weather forecast can make the day all that much brighter.
It just so happens, that after a very unsettled week of weather, Sunday is going to be absolutely gorgeous!
The clouds will completely clear out by Sunday morning and we are looking at a near perfect forecast for Mom.

Skies will be mainly sunny across New England, from mountaintop to seashore.
Temperatures will rise from the 50s in the morning to near 70 in the afternoon.
It will be a bit breezy in the afternoon with a few northwesterly gusts topping 20mph.

The sunny and mild weather will spill over into next week! We expect highs in the 70s and dry weather to continue through at least Tuesday.
