A weekend in the 90s

The weather headlines today…our mini drought continues, a great planetary lineup and a weekend scorcher.

The updated drought monitor came out today and was largely unchanged. Still have a moderate drought in a large portion of eastern MA…Boston remains more than 5″ below the average for 2022.

Other than a few isolated sprinkles today/tomorrow, there is no rain in the forecast until early next week.

Thursday will be another mainly sunny, pleasant and comfy day. The day that was supposed to be the wettest of the week (forecasts from several days ago) has evolved into a nice day. High temperatures near 80.

Friday looks similar…partly sunny, high near 80…just a slight risk of an isolated sprinkle

Unfortunately it looks like there will be some clouds early on Friday so most will be unable to see the amazing planetary lineup predawn…

While the Moon won’t fall in line again quite like this, the 5 planets will remain in order each morning right through early July.

On to the Weekend…
Most inland locations will hit 90 both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday will be the warmer of the two days with lots of low to mid 90s away from the Coastline. At the beaches we expect local seabreezes to keep temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
