Teen Open Mic (WTAC)

Westford Teen Arts Council – Rockin’ the PCA

If you’re a teen with an interest in music, performing, being a sound technician, or just hanging out with your friends, Westford Teen Arts Council (WTAC) is the place for you. We are a student-run organization, producing open-mic shows primarily for performers in grades 8-12 (but all are welcome). We embrace music of all types: jazz, classical, acoustic, rock, and even spoken-word and poetry.

Our 2021-22 Season

Currently, no shows are scheduled. We are looking for interested students in grades 8-12 who want to join the committee. If you are interested, please contact us.

No scheduled events. Our season runs September-June. Follow us on Facebook or sign up for our mailing list.

Arrival, Departure, and Pedestrian Safety

Your safety is important to us. Cars are not always alert to pedestrians in the crosswalk near the PCA, especially at night. Use the loading zone in front of the PCA for drop off and pick up. If you park, please use extra care when crossing Lincoln Street. And for the sake of maintaining a good relationship with our neighbors, please arrive and leave quietly.

Get Involved

If you’re interested in performing, just bring your instrument. We have a full sound system, and can mic most anything. Vocalists, if you have backing tracks, we can plug your MP3 player into our system as well.

WTAC needs sound technicians at every event. To be eligible, you must take Rick Posch’s Superior Sound Workshop. See the Music page for upcoming workshops.

Our events are planned and organized by local teens. Parents, want to help out? Simply email us

WTAC Adult Advisors

We are currently looking for new advisors. If you are interested, please contact us.
