PCA celebrates Strawberry N Arts Festival

Visit the PCA on June 15 from 10-4 p.m. to enjoy a variety of events celebrating arts and music in our community. Artist-of-the-month Lee Gee paints live in the gallery.  Children’s activities will be held in the main hall. An evening of soulful Indian classical music concludes the day.

Festival attendees can enjoy an exhibit of paintings by Lee Gee. Lee is a fine art and crafts artist from Westford. Calling herself an artist since childhood, Lee earned a B.A. of Art in 2014 at Westfield State University and committed to art full-time at the start of 2017.

For children, members of the Westford Teen Arts Council (WTAC) will conduct an arts and craft activity. WTAC organizes monthly open mic sessions for area teenagers during the PCA season.

PCA board members and volunteers will be on hand to provide tours and information about the building’s history, its conversion to a private non-profit arts center in 1999, and the variety of arts and community events.

Indrayuddh MazumdarA concert recital of north Indian classical music concludes the day with an evening of soulful ragas on Sarod and Tabla. A great way to wind down from the festival’s excitement.
