POSTPONED: Rick Lowe, “Return to Moments of Peace”

Sat, Jan 1 - Tue, Feb 1 @ 12:00 pm

POSTPONED: Due to recent news concerning the rapid and easy spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the PCA Board has postponed or canceled all PCA-sponsored public events for January 2022. Private rentals are still allowed. The Board will reassess the situation before February and hopes the current wave passes quickly so we can return to operation soon. Thank you for understanding.

Please welcome Mr. Rick Lowe to start 2022 as the PCA Artist of the Month. The theme “Return to Moments of Peace” signifies a return to the Parish Center for the Arts, which he wishes brings peace and comfort to all who visit.

Hailing from Lowell, MA, Rick Lowe will have his exhibit of paintings and eco spheres on display from January 1 until February 1. His paintings express love for the natural world, past and present. His pieces reflect nature’s imaginative designs, and he hopes viewers find peace and comfort in them.

His style is a combination of Chinese brush painting with a modern twist. An example of this is one painting created on handmade Chinese paper made with the traditional methods of hand papermaking.

Meet Rick in a recent interview as Patty Stocker of the Westford Cable TV station discusses his techniques and artistic approach.
His artwork is for sale by contacting the artist at with any questions or inquiries.

Please note the Parish Center for the Arts Gallery will not be open on Sundays from Noon to 2 p.m. during January 2022.
