“Flower Power” – Oil Paintings by Artist Laurie G. Miller.

Sat, Dec 7 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Kick off the holidays and join us for the Opening Reception of “Flower Power” on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 6 – 9 p.m.  Enjoy live music, sweet and savory treats, and engaging artwork.  Artist Laurie G. Miller has filled the PCA gallery with an exhibition of delightful florals.

Miller has enjoyed a long and successful art career and has painted a wide variety of subjects but rarely flowers.  While recovering from surgery early in 2019, Miller received many flowers to buoy her spirits, and, for the first time, she felt compelled to capture them in paint.  The more she painted, the more engaged she became with their delicate forms and vibrant colors.

Miller is also known for painting sweet treats such as donuts and cupcakes so the exhibit also includes a smaller series of “Flour Power” paintings.

The exhibit runs December 1 – 29, 2019 with gallery hours on Sundays in December from noon to 2 p.m. and by appointment.

Visit Miller’s website at www.LaurieGMiller.com for more information on the artist.
