Art Reception – Jack McCrossan, Photography

Sat, Dec 8 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us for the opening reception of “Uniquely New England”, a solo exhibit by local photographer Jack McCrossan.

New England offers rich history; magnificent coastlines, lakes, and mountains; and of course, the seasons. Lifelong resident Jack McCrossan regularly explores the region looking for scenes that convey that unique New England feeling. Jack’s focus in selecting the composition, processing the image, and ultimately producing the final print is all about sharing that feeling with the viewer.

An award-winning photographer, Jack studied at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts and the Maine Media Workshops and College. He learned from a number of photographic masters including Sam Abel, Cary Wolinsky, and Lou Jones and continues to work on his craft both in the field and in the digital darkroom. He is a member of the Professional Photographers Association of New England (PPANE) and the Westford Nashoba Valley Photo Club (NVPC). Visit or Jack McCrossan Photography on Facebook for samples of Jack’s work.

More than forty of Jack’s images will be displayed throughout the month of December at the PCA in Westford Center. In addition to the opening reception on December 8th, there will be open gallery hours every Sunday in December from noon – 2 PM and by appointment.
