Rejecting the confining roles of strict categorization, the Jason Anick/Jason Yeager Quartet draws on the wide swath of musical interests of its co-leaders, blending straight-ahead and post-bop jazz, world music, funk and pop, eagerly embracing what Anick and Yeager have defined as “jazz without borders.”

The Eloquence of Brahms: Anderson-Rudolph Duo

Bonnie Anderson, pianist, and Shay Rudolph, cellist, are back for their third annual duo concert at the PCA.  Their shared affinity for beauty of sound, fullness of harmony, sweeping lines, and emotional expression naturally draws them to the repertoire of the Romantic Era.  The centerpiece of this concert is the Brahms Cello Sonata No. 1 in E Minor, a cherished mainstay of the sonata repertoire.
