October 21, 2017 –  Evan Goodrow

Evan Goodrow is an American singer-songwriter-guitarist who has released eleven studio albums and three live albums of soul, funk, blues, rock, and R&B. A Boston native, Goodrow got his start playing jazz guitar and singing acoustic folk in coffee houses in the early 2000s. Consistently an independent artist, he has a unique and diverse history that includes winning the Boston Blues Award, playing funk concerts for Marines on NATO bases in Europe, and even jamming with Jimmy Buffet in the Caribbean.  He’s played multiple shows with B.B. King and even sang for the Yardbirds! In June, Evan released his 14th recording, “Burn”, and he’ll be returning to the PCA with a new crew of musicians and a new collection of songs.  Always a fan favorite, tickets for this show will go fast!

“Pretty fly for a white guy!” writes the Philadelphia Times.

Tickets: $20 PCA Members; $22 Non-Members

December 2, 2017 –  Rosemary’s Baby Blues

Rosemary’s Baby Blues is one of New England’s top horn bands, bringing a high-energy, electrifying feel to every performance.  You’ll find yourself totally engaged, clapping, tapping and dancing to a variety of music, with stellar performances of blues, swing, soul, rock classics and original tunes. RBB has wowed the crowds at many New England venues and events including Showcase Live at Patriots Place, Center for the Arts in Arlington, NH State Fair, Onset Blues Festival, Mystic Seaport Music Festival, The Grog in Newburyport, Firefly’s in Marlborough, The Boggestock Music Festival in Millis — and in 2016, at the PCA.  After last year’s tremendous show, we are so excited to have RBB back for an encore performance! This show is not to be missed!! .

 Tickets: $23 PCA Members, $25 Non-members

January 20, 2018 – The Love Dogs

Love DogsBack by overwhelming demand, The Love Dogs are making their winter appearance in town! Take one red hot horn section – we’re talkin’ alto, tenor, baritone saxes, and trombone–down and dirty.  Add liberal amounts of barrelhouse boogie woogie piano and stinging Fender guitar. Pour over a funky swinging rhythm section that Blues Review magazine called “the best in the business,” and top it all off with a charismatic front man with one of the biggest blues voices around! This show sells out – don’t wait to order tickets!

Tickets: $23 PCA Members; $25 Non-Members
