Chandelier Restoration

On March 11, 2014 the restored Eastlake Gasolier, a century-old chandelier that was found in the basement when the PCA first opened, was installed. For eighteen months, PCA directors Cathy Lane and Newell Tillman spearheaded the restoration project, with funds raised from an art auction and the expertise of Gary Sweeney at Yankee Craftsman in Wayland, MA.   Thanks to their vision and leadership, the beautifully restored chandelier is back in its rightful place in the Main Gallery.  Next time you visit the building, remember to look up!
