About the Judges:

Adults’ and Young Adults’ Judge — Jill M. Pottle

Jill Pottle is an artist from Worcester County who exhibits her paintings and pastels locally and nationally. She graduated from Syracuse University with her BFA and earned her MFA from the Museum School in Boston. An accomplished artist and art teacher for 35 years, Jill’s works have been included in shows at the Fowler Art Gallery, Provincetown Artists’ Association and the East End Gallery in Provincetown, MA.  She exhibited a one-woman show of her still life paintings at Art Space in Maynard, and had a duo show at the St. Botoph’s Club in Boston. Her most recent exhibition was at the Three Stones Gallery in W. Concord, MA. During the 2011 season she was the artist in residency at the Fruitlands Museum. Jill’s work has been included in a variety of collections: Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged in Roslindale, MA, Sterling Drug Inc., and Fidelity in Boston. Children’s Judge — Colleen Sgroi

Colleen Sgroi’s paintings, puzzles, calendars and prints are sold all over the world. In 1988 she began painting again and exhibited her first art show in Miami, FL, where an art publisher in NYC discovered her, printed and distributed her folk art internationally. Colleen’s paintings have been used in films made by Disney, Lions Gate Films, the television series CSI, and Fox Entertainment’s 2014 miniseries Gracepoint. Her art is in the homes of the rich and famous, such as actor Matt LaBlanc , Senator Scott Brown, news personality Susan Wornick, Congressman Marty Meehan and author Steven Pressfield. Colleen runs her own private gallery in Billerica, MA that offers art classes, art birthday parties, wine and paint nights, fundraiser parties, and more! Please visit her website at
