Teen (WTAC)

Westford Teen Arts Council  – Celebrating 18 Years of Rockin’ the PCA!

If you’re a teen with an interest in music, performing, being a sound technician, or just hanging out with your friends, Westford Teen Arts Council (WTAC) is the place for you! We produce open-mic shows primarily for performers in grades 8-12 (but all are welcome). This student-run organization embraces music of all types: jazz, classical, acoustic, rock, and even spoken-word and poetry.

Our 2017-18 Season

Our first scheduled show of the season is Friday, October 13, 2017 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.  Other show dates scheduled are:

Friday, January 5th
Friday, April 13th
Friday, June 15th

Admission is $5, and snacks will be available.

Check our social media sites for future show dates! We plan to have shows roughly every six weeks from October to June, with loads of opportunities for you to perform or just come and support your friends. Sometimes, however, school conflicts or other events cause us to modify our schedule. To keep up to date, find us on Facebook by following Westford Teen Arts Council – WTAC ( or check the PCA Calendar Page.

Arrival, Departure, and Pedestrian Safety

Your safety is important to us! Cars are not always alert to pedestrians in the crosswalk near the PCA, especially at night. Use the loading zone in front of the PCA for drop off and pick up. If you park, please use extra care when crossing Lincoln Street. And for the sake of maintaining a good relationship with our neighbors, please arrive and leave quietly.

Get Involved!

If you’re interested in performing, just bring your instrument. We have a full sound system, and can mic most anything. Vocalists, if you have backing tracks, we can plug your MP3 player into our system as well. WTAC needs sound technicians at every event. To be eligible, you must take Rick Posch’s Superior Sound Workshop. The next one is being offered on Saturday, Sept 16 at the PCA. For more details and registration information, see the Music page.
Our events are planned and organized by local teens. Parents, want to help out? Great! Simply contact one of these WTAC adult advisors:

Or, follow the WTAC on Facebook! We’ll keep you up-to-date on the latest happenings!
