Enrichment

What is Arts & Enrichment?

The Arts & Enrichment program enhances our children’s education. These programs are “in-house field trips”, taking place in an intimate classroom setting. Our mission is to provide supportive, positive and fun experiences for our children. We strive to bring school curriculum alive through storytelling, dance, music, outside performances, and assemblies that provide exciting, hands-on, interactive opportunities across all grades during the school year.

These programs are wholly funded through fundraising events and generous donations from Day School families. Fundraising like our Invest In Your Child campaign, Box Top collection and Shoe Box Recycling Program generate the budget allowing for the programs to continue each year.

Below is a glimpse of the programs that are coming to your child’s classroom.

How does all this happen?

The Day School has an “Arts & Enrichment Coordinator”,  a parent volunteering their time to work closely with grade specific teachers and the principal to find enrichment programs that will best align with the curriculum and expand the excitement of learning. The coordinator spends time booking these events, greeting the artist on the day of the event and paying the artist with PTT funds

We are thankful for our 2015-2016 Arts & Enrichment Coordinator:

We look forward to providing more enrichment programs through your continued support and event attendance.  Thank you for your generosity in helping to bring these programs to our school.
