Used Book Sale

The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library will hold a used book sale on January 31, February 1, and February 2.
Friday, January 31 is a Friends Members Only preview sale, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Memberships are available online now, or you may join at the door. No scanners are allowed on Friday.
Saturday, February 1 is the Public Sale, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most items are $1 or $2.
Sunday, February 2 is a Bag Sale, from 2 to 4 p.m. Attendees must purchase a reusable bag for $10 to enter and can then fill it with items.
Scanners may not be used on Friday, but are welcome on Saturday and Sunday.
The sale will include thousands of gently used books plus CDs, audio books, blu-ray discs, and DVDs. We accept credit card payments in addition to checks and cash.
NOTE: This will be the last book sale at the current building before the library is closed for renovations. Be sure to check the Book Sales page on our website, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram, for updates about special offsite sales during the expansion project.
This sale is a fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Friends of the JV Fletcher Library. The Friends support the library by funding innovative programs for all ages, providing museum passes for discounted entrance fees, supplementing the library’s digital and hard copy collections, and updating furnishings and décor.
