Wines of Northern Italy: The Cool Kids
The climate in northern Italy is decidedly cooler than in the south and this effects all aspects of winemaking including the styles of wine produced. Tonight, we will taste classic wines from Piemonte and Veneto, as well as Lombardy’s delicious sparkling Franciacorta, and a rare, elegant red from the smallest wine region in Italy.
