In 2004, Westford celebrated
an important milestone
in the town's history. September 23rd, 2004, marked the 275th anniversary
of the incorporation of "our" town. Westford celebrated with events
from Dec 31, 2003 to the end of October 2004. Some of the many activities

- Westford’s oldest
church, built in 1794, opened its doors from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
for an afternoon reception and guided tours.
Historic House Tour,
Sunday, October 3
- The Westford Historical
Society showcased seven of Westford’s historic homes on its 275th
Anniversary Historic House Tour. Featured houses included 16 Frances
Hill Road built 1656, 58 Hildreth Street built 1687, 91 Powers
Road built 1700s, 70 Concord Road built 1730, 6 Lincoln Street
built 1855-1895, 39 Main Street built 1876 and 7 Graniteville
Road built 1893.
