The Nabnasset Mock Caldecott

The NABNASSET MOCK CALDECOTT

pgraphic1-547Mrs. Loughman, the Nabnasset and Abbot librarian, holds a fun, interactive and dynamic mock Caldecott election with the second and third grade students. The students read and analyze the illustrations of books that are creating buzz in the literary community. They play Caldecott bingo, design their own “Nab Medal” and vote to determine the winner of the Nab Caldecott. In truth, it never matters the real world winner, the students have too much fun determining the Nab winner!

Please enjoy these books with your children.
