Thanks: The Westford Kiwanis would like to thank all those who supported the 2016 Apple Blossom Festival and Parade. We particularly appreciate the extensive support of our Platinum Sponsors: Emerson Hospital Health Center Westford, Keller Williams Realty, Circle Health Westford and Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. This year we had over 55 different units and organizations in the Apple blossom Parade. We broke all previous attendance records. The Westford Kiwanis could not have handled the added work load without the help from members of the newly formed Apple Blossom Committee and the dozens of Apple Blossom Festival volunteers. Our hats off to all of you who helped make this event so successful. We could not have handled all the parking lot chores or extensive clean up without the support of the leadership and members of Boy Scout Troops 159 and 95. Thanks guys and gals.
Join the Apple Blossom Committee: The Apple Blossom Festival has been a yearly Westford event since 1968. The heritage of this festival goes back even further to the original area wide event in 1935. The Westford Kiwanis rely on assistance from the Apple Blossom Committee. This is a small group of energetic Westford residents who desire to see this great tradition continue. If you share this desire please join us to continue making this town wide event a reality in the future. Westford Youth Support: We want you to know we are a volunteer service organization and ALL of the proceeds from the festival go to support the greater-Westford community. Our mission is to serve the needs of children within our community but, we also help others in need regardless of age. Each year we provide thousands of dollars in scholarships, grants for community service projects including; helping elders, the environment, arts, historic preservation and Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting.
